You ask anyone on the street if opening a small business is risky and they will all tell you yes it is. It is ingrained in us there is a lot of risk to put that much money into a business that you hope will net you six figures 5 years down the road. That's probably why people work immensely hard when they open a business even though they may just be keeping it afloat. So why is it that so many people fail on the internet when there isn't nearly as much risk?
People don't treat it like a business that's why. If everyone that came on the internet looking to generate residual income treated it like opening a franchise that cost them 100k, they would succeed. Problem is they don't see it that way and treat it as a hobby. Hobbies don't make money, they use up money. This goes right back to risk taking and realizing that the people who take risks and venture out into the unknown are the ones that succeed. They do the extra things normal people won't do in order to make it happen.
That's the precise reason why everyone isn't a millionaire. When you think about it everyone has everything it takes to become a millionaire. The difference is whether they have the will and dedication to make it happen. The bigger the idea you come up with, the bigger the inherent risk, the bigger the hurdles you will have to overcome, but the bigger the reward at the end.
Now I am not saying to spend your money like crazy, I am saying that you will have to work hard to make it happen. You might have to risk yourself emotionally while trying to generate residual income over the internet. I guarantee you many people will hang up the phone on you when you call them. You will here a ton of nos. There are all things you will have to deal with emotionally, and that is where the risk is working on the internet. That is also where you can overcome those risks and reap the benefits of jumping over those hurdles.
Go put yourself out there and succeed.
